    • Starting January 1, 2008, condo fees are $197/month and are due the first day of the month for the current month. (For example, many residents will mail their monthly fees by the 20th of the preceeding month to be sure that it arrives to Camellia Gardens Condominiums Association, Inc. c/o KRM Management, Inc. by the 1st.) Please be sure to make your payments on time to avoid late fees.  

    • The 2008 Annual Membership meeting will be held at a Location TBD (Announced via postal mail) at 11 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2008. This is an important meeting and you should mark your calendars now so that you can plan to attend. A complete meeting package will be sent out about a month before the meeting. The Board of Directors will meet following the annual membership meeting.  

    • The next Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 5, 2007 @ 7:00 PM; at Libby Allen Realty. This meeting will will serve to approve the 2008 fiscal yeat budget. Additional details and a meeting package will be mailed to all owners prior to November 5th. The Board is looking at a budget that maintains the current level of funding without raising the current monthly dues. All residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend.

    • The Annual Budget Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting is set for Thursday, November 16, 2006 @ 6:30 PM; at the Tallahassee Board of Realtors. The Board will be approving a budget for fiscal year 2007. The proposed budget will be posted on the Financial Oversight Committee's website at CamelliaGardens.org. All residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend.  

    • The Financial Oversight Committee will meet for their Preliminary Budget Workshop on Thursday, October 16, 2006 @ 6:00 PM; at the Salty Dawg on Monroe St. All committee members, residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend.  

    • "Save the Date" for Saturday, September 30, 2006 as Camellia Gardens hosts our Neighborhood of the Year Celebration Day! The City of Tallahassee has teamed with Camellia Gardens Condominiums Association for a day of free food, prizes, contests and more. Here is what our Community Involvement Committee is planning:

      7:00 AM - 12:00 NOON: COMMUNITY-WIDE YARD SALE. Is it time to clean out your closets, find some treasure, or make a little cash? Simply set up a table in front of your unit during this time and sell, sell, sell! The Association will be placing ads in the Tallahassee Democrat highlighting "huge neighborhood-wide yard sale," and balloons at our front entrance to ensure the most participants. Remember: YOU keep all of the profits!

      4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: CAMELLIA GARDENS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION MEETING. Come meet and greet fellow neighbors and the Board of Directors as we discuss the on goings of our fantastic community. Of special interest will be our Community Crime Watch Liaisons for an update on our program, as well as Sheri Peacock with Camellia Gardens Real Estate with some important data on recent sales and the current values and projections of our home investments.

      5:00 PM - 7:30 PM: PARTY, PARTY, PARTY!!!!!!! Sponsored by the City of Tallahassee and catered by Wilson's Bar-B-Q, come join in the fun and enjoy a free dinner as we celebrate our Neighborhood of the Year award. We will also have college football playing on the big screen, door prizes and contests such as mini golf and horseshoes where you can win some great rewards! Come out and bring you friends (even if they don't live in Camellia Gardens) so that we can show off our wonderful neighborhood. Plus, we are also expecting a surprise guest from the City Commission!

    • Camellia Gardens has been awarded "2006 Neighborhood of the Year" by the City of Tallahassee Commission and the Council of Neighborhood Organizations (CONA)! In a ceremony held on May 8, 2006, President Michael T. Turner and Treasurer Sheri Peacock accepted the award on behalf of the community. Read our story in the Tallahassee Democrat.  

    • The Second Annual Camellia Gardens Spring Weekend is quickly approaching! Scheduled for April 22, 2006 from 8:00am - 2:00pm, come join in to meet neighbors, share information, eat a great lunch, and more importantly help the community look as great as possible as we install some new Camellia trees to our front entrance and work to clean-up the community. Please contact Randy Vickers or Steve Levine for additional information.  

    • UPDATE: The next Board of Directors meeting is set for Monday, March 13, 2006 @ 7:00 PM; at the residence of Sheri Peacock (Unit 604). Starting at 6:40 PM prior to the meeting, the Board will be walking around the property to inspect the buildings. All residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend. (This meeting has been moved from unit 608, which was originally reported, to 604.)  

    • Camellia Gardens has been nominated for Community of the Year in the City of Tallahassee! We'll keep you updated once voting begins this spring.

    • Please join us for our 2006 Annual Meeting on January 28, 2006 @ 3:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, 1029 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, Florida. (The facility is across the side street where Whataburger is located.) Though we hope to see you regardless, we are encouraging homeowners to bring a dessert to share with others so that we can get a "Sweet Start" to 2006.     • The Board of Directors has accepted Recommendation I of the Financial Oversight Committee to raise condominium fees to $140/month ($15 of which will be specifically earmarked for the procurement of a community-wide irrigation system. The 2006 Budget is available for viewing on the Financial Oversight Committee's website.  

    • The Camellia Gardens Community-Wide Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, from 7:30 AM until 2:00 PM. For more information, please contact Randy Vickers @ 386-3454 or Steve Levine @ 562-5399.  

    • The next Board of Directors meeting has been scheduled for Monday, November 14, 2005 @ 7:00 PM; at the Tallahassee Police Substation in the Tallahassee Mall. The Board will be approving a budget for fiscal year 2006. The proposed budget is on the Financial Oversight Committee's website.  

    • Camellia Gardens parking regulations go into force soon. Please be sure that the residents in your Camellia Gardens condominium receive and are using the two static cling window stickers that were mailed out by KRM Management, Inc. by September 26, 2005, as this is the date that the parking restrictions begin. All decals should be attached to the front interior, driver-side windshield, without exception. In addition, you may report neighborhood parking violations by visiting http://Parking.CamelliaGardens.org, or by contacting KRM Management, Inc. Though we hope that towing vehicles without parking decals will not be necessary, KRM Management, Inc. has been authorized to engage in that action as necessary to curb noncompliance. We hope, however, that acceptance of these new regulations will make living at Camellia Gardens a more pleasant experience for everyone.  

    • The Financial Oversight Committee meeting to discuss next year's budget has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 12, 2005 @ 6:00 PM; at the residence of Michael T. Turner. All residents and homeowners are encouraged to attend.

    • In June of 2005, the Board of Directors completes the Camellia Gardens Front Entrance and Buildings Landscape Master Plan with Landscape Architect Frank Douglass of Tallahassee Nurseries.  This move will provide for a strategic method of landscape enhancements as the association begins to grow throughout the years.  The plan calls for the Indian Hawthorn and 'Shi-Shi Gashira' Camellia to be added to the front entrance, Dwarf Yaupon Holly and Azetec Grass to surround our Shumard Oak in the front circle-round, and also calls for the relocation of 174 existing Ligustrum from the front of each unit to act as a privacy and noise buffer between our  neighborhood and Old Bainbridge Road.  The Ligustrum will be replaced in front of the condo units with 90 Carissa Holly's and 140 Liriope 'Super Green Giant' plants.

    • The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on June 22, 2005 at 8:00 PM; the home of Michael T.
